Water levels in the treated water tanks have dropped consistently throughout July. Community water use has increased to around 3 million gallons a day while the flows from the springs and wells have decreased, as is common in the summer.

Beginning July 28th, 2022 through mid-August, Flint Street from 3rd to 4th will be closed for work relating to the installation of a traffic signal, across 3rd at Flint Street, by WYDOT.
Beginning Monday, August 1st, Converse Avenue will be closed to through traffic from North Odgen Road to Townsend Place Apartments. This closure will be in place for one week to complete utility work associated with the new subdivision.

Cheyenne has seen much success with data centers making their home in Cheyenne. I met with a new data center that has purchased land in our North Range Business Park. Bison Block Chain is a bitcoin mining operation that will be made up of 30,000 miners using an unbelievable amount of electricity. I did not know or understand this kind of business, but the education we received has helped me feel comfortable and excited about this investment. Congratulations to LEADS and Black Hills Energy.
