City of Flaramie recently issued the following announcement.

Beginning the morning of Tuesday, April 26,  2022, 3rd Street will be CLOSED from Flint to Harney St., and will only have two (2) lanes open on the east side between Harney to Shield St. for Water Line replacement. Traffic will be detoured to 4th Street and two entrances to the Gateway Plaza will be maintained at all times (see attachments).

In early May, North of Harney will be paved and fully opened back up.  The street closure on 3rd Street to the south of Harney continue south and will maintain approximately 3 (three) closed block increments at a time. The project will continue progressing south on 3rd Street through Sheridan Street (and then around Fetterman Street) throughout the summer until complete. The project completion is estimated to be around October 31, 2022.

Updates will be provided throughout the summer as sections of 3rd Street are re-opened and new sections closed due to this project. Questions or comments to engineering@cityoflaramie.org or 307-721-5250.
