The grant was awarded on June 5, 2019. The EDA describes the grant as follows:
"This EDA investment supports the construction of a training facility to help the Central Wyoming Community College address agricultural training needs through an Agriculture and Animal Science Complex in a designated Opportunity Zone in Freemont County, Wyoming. The completion of the project will help the agriculture sector to grow, which will create jobs and diversify the region's workforce."
