Sheridan County recently issued the following announcement.

The Board of County Commissioners are now accepting applications for one (1) open position. This is a three (3) year term, running July 01, 2022, through June 30, 2025. Individuals may apply by completing a board application and cover letter at www.sheridancounty.com. This open board position will remain open until filled. Application and cover letter can be emailed to humanresources@sheridancounty.com or mailed/delivered to Board of County Commissioners, 224 S Main St, Suite B1, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Sheridan County Public Library System is a public advisory board, and its purpose is to:

  • Set policies and develop a Strategic Plan for the library system
  • Set the annual budget for the library and oversee all financial documents and expenditures each month
  • Oversight of the Library Director
  • Proponent of the Library within the community
