Seeking Merry & Bright Parade Floats

0Comments

The 8th Annual Merry & Bright Parade is a community-grown tradition.

This is a family-friendly kids-approved parade to kick off the holiday season. Please help by spreading the word by inviting more participants to this holiday parade. Businesses, clubs, and school groups would be a wonderful addition to this fun event.

It is a night parade, and due to the darkness, this is a candy-free event. Please avoid tossing candy. If you would like to hand out items, that is allowed.

The requirements:

1. The entry must be kid-appropriate.

2. Every entry must include lights.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, November 30. The parade lineup will be 4:30 p.m. on December 3rd. Allow the walkers to line up first. All other floats are set on a first-come, first-line-up basis. The parade starts promptly at 5:00 p.m. led by the Polk County Sheriff’s deputies.
