Leaf Vacuuming to Begin Next Week

0Comments

Leaf season is here! The Town will begin offering curbside leaf vacuuming next week (week of Oct. 23), and will continue until the end of November/beginning of December. There is no set schedule—leaves will be vacuumed as time and weather permits.

Leaves must be raked to the curb by the edge of the property line; however, please do not put leaves in the street, on the sidewalk, or on top of graveled driveways. Ginkgo leaves or leaves mixed with sticks, brush, rocks, gravels, nuts or other debris will not be vacuumed, as they clog and cause damage to the equipment.

Leaves not put out by the end of leaf vacuuming service must be bagged in paper biodegradable bags and placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on Mondays.
