City of Laramie recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Laramie is hosting the summer convention of the Wyoming Association of Municipalities (WAM). Visitors representing Wyoming’s 99 incorporated cities and towns will convene for networking, education and all the fun our community has to offer. More than 200 elected officials and personnel will begin arriving in Laramie on June 8th and will stay through June 10th. While here, they will participate in municipal government related learning, as well as planned recreational events such as a 5k fun walk/run at Pilot Hill on Thursday, June 9th at 7:00 a.m. This event is open to the community as well so, if you’d like to join the fun, sign up at https://laramie-fun-run.cheddarup.com. Cost is only $10.00 and all registrations/proceeds will go directly to Pilot Hill for the continued development of this wonderful public access area.
